The Commander in Chief of the Valley of Buffalo, AASR, respectfully requests that you read this Public Invitation to your membership at one of your January Communications.

 

Brethren,

On behalf of the Valley of Buffalo, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, I invite All Masonic Brothers and their Ladies to participate in our “Annual Valentine Night” or Ladies Night on Saturday February 11th, 2017, at the 32nd Degree Masonic Community Center, 2379 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14227.

The evening will start with a meet and greet reception at 6:00 PM serving hors d’oeuvres with beer and wine, followed by a dinner catered by Buffalo’s Best Catering. Hall of Fame Guitarist Michael Hund will be performing through the evening for your listening and dancing pleasure. Beer and wine will be served through the evening. Favors will be presented to the Ladies. The cost will be $50.00 per couple or $25.00 per single. Your Lodge may reserve tables of six or eight until Noon Tuesday, February 7th. The Valley of Buffalo was chartered in 1893. The Valley of Buffalo is known as one of the premier fully active Valleys in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction with an excellent reputation for its degree ritual work. The Brothers, with their ladies, friends, and families, will have an opportunity to enjoy a public play by the Scottish Rite Players. On Friday February 24th, 2017, at the 32nd Degree Masonic Community Center 2379 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14227.

The title of this Play is “The Last Full Measure “. It centers on a series of event that may have occurred in the life of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States during the Civil War. It was adapted from a Scottish Rite Degree which has been retired.

The evening will begin with a 6:30 PM Fellowship dinner by Buffalo’s Best Catering. An after dinner Program will be presented by a President Lincoln

reenactor. The Degree will be presented at 8:00 PM. The cost of dinner is $20.00.

Make your dinner reservations by NOON, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 by calling the Valley Office 668-2755. You are not required to attend dinner to witness the Presentation.

For any Brothers who are searching for more light in Freemasonry beyond Symbolic Lodge, The Valley of Buffalo offers opportunities to experience 29 degrees, (4th through 32nd ); an opportunity for further light.
