First Erie Donates Grill to Wiley Hall

During the year the First Erie Team does a variety of fundraising efforts to contribute to the efforts of Wiley Hall. With our Grand Master making this his designated charity, it made it a priority to support. Support it we did! This year alone First Erie was able to donate towards the renovations happening in the patio of Wiley Hall. Helping to complete the efforts with the purchase of a very nice Weber grill. This will allow the residence under our fraternal care to enjoy the nice summer weather with their families the patio of their home in the Masonic Care Community.  It may seem minor but these additions add to the quality of life and the enjoyment of all that are visiting or live in our Masonic Home. Thank you Erie for the continued support!

Eggertsville Grand Island Lodge Donates to Veterans

Eggertsville Grand Island Lodge donates $500 to the Charles N. Deglopper memorial park fund. The park is located on Grand Island and will cost $100,000 to complete the park. The post commander and Jr vice received the donation.

Also the Lodge ran into a Brother! Bro. Peter Xanthos who is a WWII veteran and a Mason of 64 years and a member of EGI. The stories he had were extremely interesting. What a true American hero.   – Wor. William Koller

Our Grand Lodge Officers of Erie County Past and Present

Our Honored Speaker – Right Wor. Steven A. Rubin, Judge Advocate, and our Presiding Officer. Right Wor. Brian Singer, President of the MPAEC

Held this past Friday at Western Star Masonic Center the Masters, Past Master, Masters Elect, and our Grand Lodge Officers gathered to welcome a new generation of Masonic leadership. This ceremony is something very special and attendance in the last few years as steadily grown to include more and more of our Erie Past Master and Past Grand Lodge Officers. We welcomed Right Wor. Steve A. Rubin, Judge Advocate, to address our Erie leadership. He is one of the best Masonic speakers easily in the State and we are very lucky to have had him. His message of leadership and what it really is to lead in a Lodge had all taking something away from it. Right Wor. Singer presented him with a bronze Buffalo, once designed exclusively for the Mayor of Buffalo as a gift to visiting dignitaries. Simply a wonderful evening that we hope to share with even more next year.

73rd Annual Masonic Interfaith Breakfast

Right Wor. Charles Roberts – Grand Chaplain and our Officiant

Right Worshipful Brian Singer – President of the Masonic Purple Association of Erie County

Bro. William Dibble – New York State Police Anti-Terrorist Task Force

Thank you to the Masonic Purple Association of Erie County for hosting another wonderful breakfast. We did it a little different this year and invited Right Wor. Rev. Charles Roberts to act as our officiant at the hall instead of a sperate house of worship. The service was very well received and Rev. Roberts message of living the faith of your choice and being true to Freemasonry in your everyday life was very insightful.

We welcomed over 125 Masons, their significants others, families, and friends to this event. Thank you to Right Wor. Douglas Airth, VP of the MPAEC and Event Chair, Right Wor. Brian Singer, President of the MPAEC, Right Wor. Daniel Peters, Secretary of the MPAEC, and Very Wor. G. Franklin Gaskill, Treasurer of the MPAEC and  Ticket Chair for all their hard work in making this successful once again. Truly living to the legacy of the last 72 years.  This is also the primary fundraiser for the MPAEC and all the proceeds went to the Masonic Youth groups in attendance.

Thank you to Bro. Dibble from the New York State Police Anti-Terrorist Task Force for being our event speaker. All in all a wonderful event and we look forward to seeing you all out next year.
