Masonic Purple Association of Erie County

The Purple Association was organized in 1999 by consolidating the “Past District Deputies Association of Erie County” with the “Past Grand Lodge Officers Association of Erie County”.

Masonic Board of Relief

The Masonic Board of Relief has been in continual operation since 1858. It represents the Lodges in Erie County in assisting Sojourning Masons, their families or dependents with their problems. This Board is ready to represent the Officers and Members of any Lodge in Erie County in their endeavor to assist their Members who have moved out of Erie County either temporarily or permanently. The Masonic Board of Relief is under the direction of the Masonic Service Bureau, Inc. and meets the third Monday of January, March, May, August and November at the Masonic Service Bureau, Inc. at 7:30 PM.

Erie County Masonic Foundation

Established in 1958, the Masonic Foundation’s purpose is to receive and maintain funds and apply any part of the income therefrom exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or education purposes. Contributions to the Foundation are Federal Tax Deductible.

Membership consists of the Trustees of the Corporation who are elected by the membership to serve three year terms; the District Deputy Grand Masters and Staff Officers from the Erie Districts to serve a two year term; two delegates chosen each year by their respective organizations to serve two year terms. Delegates are appointed by Erie County organizations as follows: Masonic Purple Association of Erie County, Masonic Past Masters’ Association of Erie County, Pillars of Erie County and the Masonic Service Bureau, Inc. of Erie County.
