Second Erie Grand Lecturer’s Convention

On the afternoon of Saturday, October 29, 2016 the Brothers of the Second Erie District welcomed Right Wor. Richard J. Kessler, Grand Lecturer to the Western Star Masonic Center for the annual Grand Lecturer’s Convention. Right Wor. Kessler shared insight into additional methods of evaluating candidate proficiency and elaborated upon the lessons of the Middle Chamber Lecturer. West Seneca Lodge No. 1111 qualified for the Potts award for having their elected, appointed and installed officers in attendance. Right Wor. Kessler also presented Meacham Awards to the Masters and Brothers of Living Stone Lodge No. 255, West Seneca Lodge No. 1111 and Western Star Lodge No. 1185 for conferring all three masonic degrees with their own members over the 2015-2016 Masonic year. A delicious lunch was provided by the Brothers of the Western Star ‘R’ Club. West Seneca Lodge No. 1111 recaptured the Erie Districts’ School of Instruction Traveling Gavel for having the most Brothers in attendance.
